Re: FE Trap restoration

Thank you for the photo posting. I don't think that graded Remingtons give up much to the Foxes and Parkers!

Remington Model 10

I am curious if any collectors have seen any Model 10D, F, T"s with a damascus barrel? I have read but not seen that the Winchester Model 97 could be purchased with the damascus option.

Re: Pigeon Gun ? or Trap Gun ?

I think we still call clay targets "clay pigeons" as a reference to the cross over between the two disciplines-- Trap Gun or Pigeon Gun?
Ken, Remingtons have never held any sort of collectable value close to Parker or Fox. (that's why I collect them)!

Re: Pigeon Gun ? or Trap Gun ?

I believe Remington set the FE to a different standard with the higher comb and beautiful "dished" rib. The modern trap shooters are still working with the same principals of trying to hit a rising target.

Re: Grip Caps

Thanks for the information Researcher-

Grip Caps

I have an 1894 10 gauge BE (heavy 10 lb 4oz) that sported a nice looking grip cap. Was this done by Remington or an add on after?
