Is this a model 14 or 141?

Pg 31 of the June 2020 Pennsylvania Game News has a picture of a hunter & deer. I think he is holding a model 14, but it could be a 141? Any opinions?

I believe you meant 1920.
So, with a little deductive reasoning......
Using information from the first link below:

"The Remington Model 141 entered the sporting arena in 1935. It was a remake of the Model 14 which had been introduced in 1912, designed by John D. Pedersen."

The OP meant 2020, not 1920; this is very clear from the colored Pennsylvania Game Commission badge on the page he posted. So “deductive reasoning” from the incorrect date doesn’t work here.

The vehicle in the photo could be pre-1935, but that doesn’t mean the photo was taken before that date. I can’t tell from the photo which model rifle it is, but likely an Model 14. The crescent butt says M-14, but a shotgun buttstock could have been replaced later. Just not enough detail for me to tell, but if the photo in the article is from the 1921 report cited, then it is a Model 14...

It would have been easier to provide a link to the actual publication to begin with. It's easier to read and printable in an enlarged form. And, the date at the bottom of the page isn't cut off as in the posted image.

But, every bit of information in that article (page) refers to the 1920 hunting season and the 1921 annual report.

Definitely NOT a 2020-vintage vehicle either!

Want to know what caliber the rifle is chambered for, too???

Thank you for the link. I did not think it would be available online yet, so I made do with a picture of the magazine page, unfortunately cutting off the date at the bottom of the page.
I am not sure if the picture provided was actually a part of the old report, or just something handy to meet the June 2020 publication deadline?
I am always interested to see if there are enough clues in a gun picture to determine exactly what it is. Now if they had included a picture of the muzzle, we could speculate on the caliber. LOL
