OP here. I found an extra magazine, new to near new. FYI, $95.00 delivered, that is below going price for these rarebirds.

Found a “new old stock” on eBay. $93.00 delivered, expensive, but less than others are going for on Gunbroker.

Any idea how many were made in .223?
I would like to find an extra magazine, any idea who may have one? Some guy has one on eBay $349!

I understand these were only made for about five years in the middle 1960’s. Anyone know how many were actually made?
The .222 had a longer run, both of these were low volume compared to their big brothers.

I just bought a 572 smoothbore, it's not the recent BDL but an older model with plain lumber...gun is in 90-95% condition...Remington's website has an owners manual...32gb download! I need to disassemble and clean this thing...could someone post or email instructions? Thanks!

I just bought a 870 CT, mfgered in April 1981...need some advice from someone who has owned one of these rare variants.
My gun does not have a safety..did Remington build these w/o a safety or is this a Timney trigger group?
This gun was shot less than 100 times and has been a safe queen for 30 ...
