That's the highest I've seen, too.
Would love some pics. I've got a post on my Remington Model 11 facebook page for high numbers. The highest I had there was 810,892

Re: Remington 25 scope mount
I think it would use the same mount for a model 12 or 121. I, too, thought a Redfield Junior might exist.
I've since ordered a piece of weaver rail and will attempt to fit it.
I did consider just using a short rail and counting a mini reflex on it. If I can fit a weaver rail I'll just use a ...

I have no knowledge of Remington ever doing anything but a polished blue on these. The grip cap sounds like a personal addition, also.

Re: Remington 14 Carbine in 25 Rem
Thanks for the replies.
Seller wanted $800 and is some 200 miles away. Pictures just aren't good enough to warrant the price, to me, at least. He had no ammo or brass to go with it.

Re: Model 11 16GA Year
All the 20's and 16's are marked this way on the barrel ring. The 20's started at 1 million (M), the 16's at 1.5 million, as Researcher stated. It should correspond with the serial number on the receiver, which should be 1532921, assuming the barrel wasn't changed out

Re: Remington 31F
Pictures are a must. There were a lot of guns engraved outside of Remington post-war. Some is better than others, but it's still not factory. Also, there were different levels of engraving. You would need a positive ID to set any kind of value.
We anxiously await pics!

Thank you very kindly.
I have to type more than that, so...I really appreciate it. It will be a real treat to pick his brain, if he allows.
