The Last Word by RSA President George Slatten |
|
Once again the RSA is looking forward to our Annual Meeting to be held in January 2006, in conjunction with the Antique Arms Show in Las Vegas. This year’s meeting will be especially important, as there are a number of vacant offices to be filled.
Elections will be held for President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Director(s). The Advertising Manager position, which was left vacant by the untimely passing of Jim Cohen, also needs to be filled. |
Many within our leadership have served long and well, some having been with us since our beginning, but in order for the RSA to remain a viable organization we need new faces to fill some of these important positions. If you believe you can be of service, please contact our Elections Chairman, John Gyde, whose contact information can be found on page two (2) of this Journal, to discuss the options. We need your help, now! As outgoing President, I want to take this opportunity to extend my personal thanks to Bob and Sue Creamer, who will not be returning to office but have contributed so much time and energy to making our fine organization successful. Then, to all of the RSA Officers, Directors, and Managers, thank you for your contributions, and for allowing me to serve this past four years! I look forward to a bright future for the Remington Society of America. |
Respectively submitted, George Slatten RSA President |
