J.D. Hofer receives the NRA’s award for 2nd Runner up for best display of the show. His exhibit “New Model Pocket Revolvers by E. Remington & Sons 1865 – 1875” placed third overall and came with a $1,500.00 award check. J.D. also won Best Single Arm of the Show with his one of a kind pipe cased new model pocket revolver.
The 11th Annual National Gun Collectors Show was the biggest yet with over 20,000 members and visitors attending. Over $11,000 in prize money was awarded to numerous displays in the exhibit hall.
