Remington New Model Conversion

Hi All! I have a question on a friends revolver I'm hoping you can shed some light on. I don't have pictures of it but he showed me it and was wondering what he might have and it's worth. It is a new Army with a conversion which consists of a narrow cylinder behind the cartridge cylinder and it has a hinged loading gate on the cylinders right side. The latch has a small thumb latch to release it. No finish let on pistol but no corrosion either. It is tight and looks like you could still use it! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
