Need some information on this old Remington 32 Rimfire Rifle

Post by 68rs327 »

A friend of mine has an old Remington rifle he is wanting to sell. I was wondering what it is worth??? It is a 32 Rimfire Remington. It has an octogon barrel, on the barrel it says "Rem Arm Co. Ilion, NY 32 133308"
The gun is complete and doesn't look bad. I think you would call this gun a rolling block??
I would like to know:

1. What year was the gun made???
2. What is it worth??

You will have to provide more information. It could be a No.4, No. 2, No. 1 1/2, etc..... Is it a take down??? It was made between 1880 and 1935 or so. The chances are it is a No. 4. They are worth between $150-$500 depending on condition. Unless it has vivid case coloring on the receiver, the lower number is closer...
