552 date

I just picked up a 552 ser#A1527429 I was wondering if anyone could tell me the production date.

The M/552 and M/572 shared a serial # block, so I can't provide an exact dating for either by the serial #. You can get the month and year by the barrel code located on the left side of the barrel near the receiver. Check the RSA home page and put barrel codes in the Search RSA area.
