I have a Remington model 14R carbine in 35 Remington, how many R's did they make?

Remington did not create seperate serial numbers for the carbines from the rifles. In fact the 14-1/2 rifles and carbines were included in the same serial number range. So, there is no way of telling how many "R" 14s were made. Total production is around 128000 for all types of 14 rifles. Take good care of your carbine and happy sooting.
