I have a Remington 1858 New Model. Cal. is .36 and has an anchor stamped in the barrel. Serial# is 28401. The action is single(sa).
This pistol belonged to my grandmother who at the time lived in Mexico. She was borned in 1877 and in 1918 she brought this gun into the U.S. via Texas customs where the cylinder and cylinder pin were removed. I would like to find some OEM parts to restore this piece. Missing two other pieces as they are the front sight and the screw/bolt that retains the ram arm and holds it up. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated as I see there is a lot of knowledge on this board. Regards
