I have a model 510 TargetMaster I am wondering haw old the piece is. And where the serial number is located.

No serial number to my knowledge - from what I understand they were made from 1939 to the 60's.

There should be a 3 digit code stamped on the left side of the barrel. The first 2 letters correspond to the month and year of manufacture. Mine was coded WSS and I'm told it was made in August 1947. Read the code and email it to Remington support for your answer.

Easier yet, go to the RSA home page and type Barrel Codes in the Search RSA Box.
