I picked up a number 4 rolling block in 32 cal RF a number of years ago. It was in pieces and the stock was damaged, but I'd like to try to get it fixed up for a project. Is there anyone out there who might have some of the action parts so that I can get it back together?
I also need to get a parts breakdown to even see what I'm missing.
Also, can anyone tell me why a company like Remington produced a rifle with such little marking? Aside from the Reminton name on the top of the barrel and a single L on the bottom, I can't find a serial number, cal. designation or patent stamp or anything.
Thanks
Parts for a #4 Rolling Block??
No. 4
It aint quite that easy... Is yours a solid frame, lever take down, or screw take-down? All of the parts are not the same. The serial # should be on the bottom of the barrel just ahead of the fore-end. The markings varied depending on the year of production.

rolling block rifles
I just picked up a .32 Remington Rimfire in great condition....rolling block action...matching serial numbers on the barrel, bottom side, and the wooden stock, bottom side. The rifle has a 20" barrel and is 34" long overall. Says on the side it was patented July 22, 1902, Remington Arms Co. Ilion, NY USA. It has a two stage hammer, regular sights, and a flold up peep sight behind the hammer. I also got a .32 Rimfire pistol at the same time manufactured by Forehand and Wadsworth, patented July 24, 1877. Can anyone tell me anything about these? I am not a collector.
