The highest serial # on No 4s is 6 digits. Read it again??? The last two #s = the caliber. If you disregard those, it's probably a lever take down, octagon barrel made in 1914 according to Rem records. But...Rem records are often off on the No 4 & Model 6 by several years.

Was I right? Does it have a six digit serial #?
