Remington Pocket Gun - Looking for ID

I'm looking for any information on this gun. It's marked Remington S Ilion, NY Patent 10/1/1861 on the top. Looks like a sn on the bottom of the barrel that looks to be 08xx. It's a single shot small caliber, maybe .22 rimfire. Thanks in advance for any info.
