i have 22 caliber single shot ,hexaon barrel,hammer,lever that breaks gun down to 2 parts,above that,has lever to eject spent shell,number on it is 177197 thanks mikeconley52@hotmail.com

It could be model 4 takedown, first type, they had a lever on the side to take the gun down. We should have more information i.e. barrel length, sights, s/n location, buttplate description, checkering if present, etc. The rolling block rifles were popular 1870 into the early 1900s
