I have searched pretty hard and cannot find date on serial no.
I have a 40X, no suffix or prefix, 6mm Rem, single shot, 26" SS or chrome moly barrel. the serial no is 188xx. bolt has serial no. on it. for the life of me I cannot find a production date. I would like to know when it was made and where the site is (if there is one that I can keep for my records). Thanks from a new member. It says 40-x on receiver, with heart shaped stamp on barrel, also 6mm rem on barrel.
