I have a Model 11 12 GA
Serial number 361731
I didn't find this serial number in the list.
Any idea how old it is?
I love this gun,got it at an estate sale.

I was told a while back it was 1947,I had no idea it was that old.
It is in great condition for that age.I am wonering now if the stock and forend are original.
Here are some pics.
When I bought this gun it came with an extra barrel but it does not fit the gun,or at least I can't get it to fit.
It is 27 1/8" in total length
The reciever section is 1 1/8"
I don't know what the circular part that the forend goes over is called but it is 12 1/2" to the center from the longest part of the barrel
It's marked 12 GA for 2 3/4 shells or shorter
the barrel marks on the left side are RH 3 something I cant make out.
Choke is IMP.CYL

It appears to me that the gun you are picturing has been buffed and blued with a far more shiney finish then Model 11s normally left Ilion with. Also, that appears to be replacement wood. The extra barrel looks to me like it is for a Remington Model 870 Wingmaster. Definately not a Model 11 barrel.
