Border Patrol agent and gunslinger Charles Askin's Remington Model 11 shotgun had the barrel cut down to 22", and he had Frank Pachmayr build an extended magazine that held 9 rounds of 00 Buck.
I've also seen photos of a Model 11 with a full-length magazine purported to hold 10 rounds, and was a factory produced varient for the 'market hunters'. Did Remington in fact offer such options, and if so, what time period?

I've seen several of the extended magazine Remington autoloaders purported to be market hunter guns. I think they were all aftermarket. I don't know of any coming from Ilion.
