Model 30/700 stock swap

Will the model 700 stock fit on the model 30 express chambered in 30-06 (circa 1927)?If so, which one,ADL,BDL,CDL?Want a new stock,but don't know if they are the same.Maybe another model,721,722 etc.?Any help would be great.

No, two completely different actions. The only one that would fit is the 720 stock and that is rarer than the M30.

i have a 720 but it don't have the original stock. could it possibly be a 700 stock? it has a placmeyer butt plate, with a cheek rest made into the stock.

A stock for a P-17 Enfield will also fit, same action. They are on eBay once in a while.

pretty sure it is a 700 bdl. if i were to refinish this stock, does the black plastic tip on the forearm stay on or does it screw off?
