I am just guessing but I am thinking your gun is a 14-1/2 DCP marked, mixed serials on these guns is very common so I wouldn't worry about it. If that is not the case and it is an M14, again mixed serials are still seen with some frequency and in either case hardly lessens the value of the gun.

If you got lucky and found a match for your gun (I checked the twenty-seven (27) spares that I have and didn't come very close) you would probably be confronted by two unwanted
situations. Since the guns were hand fit (upper to lower) I doubt you would find the matching serial would readily slip on your receiver based on my experience of working on countless M14's. The second problem would be that the internal parts from another lower may well not mate up well with your bolt/action bar/carrier. A complete switch of the parts
from your TG to another or the matching one usually doesn't work either.

14-1/2's do have better parts inter-changability (is that actually a word) than do the M14.

If it loads, feeds, and fires without a problem don't even think about making a switch.
