1894 Remington?

Is the serial # 100729 sound right for a 1894 damascus sxs shotgun ? Just got it , and was wondering if it was an 1894 . Thanks - Paul

Yes it is an 1894. The serial numbers started at 100000 so yours is an
early gun. I have several with one being in the 100000 areaa also.They are great guns and another tribute to Anson and Deele's patent.
