Model 11D SN 15126XX

G'Day. Recently aquired a Model 11D, sn 15126XX with barrel code of CD which would indicate year of mfg as 1935. Seems a bit early based on the sn? Any ideas or thoughts on this particular gun?

According to the records this 16 gauge was made in 1937.

Is the barrel original to the gun, ie. matching serial numbers and engraved?

If you could provide some pictures it would be a tremendous help.
