Ok Folks, lookin at the pics Remington Sent me its a bertier carbine, was made in 8mm lebel, but was also made with a 24 inch barrel!!

help with REMINGTON Mle 1907-15/RAG 1907-15
I took this rifle in trade, thinking it would be a collectors item. The entire rifle is 39 inches long, the barrel measures 17 & 3/4 from the action band.No Serial Number/never had one.Needs buttplate!! I have searched the internet for information on this rifle. Some say its a lebel, some its a bertier, some say 8mmX51, some say 7.5X?.Its has stamped on one side Remington Mle 1907-15, on the other RAG 1907-15.Was supposedly made for the French Government under contact by Remington!! Does Anyone know??????
