unidentified model 700

I have a Model 700 that has barrel fluting which was done over the caliber stamp on the barrel. The serial number on the receiver is B6695599. Can I identify the caliber by this number? It is a long action. I know it's a long shot but any help would be appreciated.

I'd be packing it off to a gunsmith to have the camber cast to find the proper calibre; preferably not the one who fluted the barrel.
