RE : tricked out 870 I built

Hello once again I am new to this sight but love my Trench/Riot shotguns. In my opinion Remington & Winchester do a great job where people believe less is more. You really dont need a Franchi Spas 12 to get the job done, I had one and was not impressed. When your done firing it may as well through it away, If ever in an emergency situation they are nearly impossible to reload. Heavy I mean Heavy. Mossberg has never been a good choice either but that is just me, they can keep there 500 & 590 I will gladly put my 870 to any challenge. I guess thats why i joined this sight. Remington parts are readily available and if you want to trick them out the parts are there too. Many of the parts you will see on this weapon I got off of ebay. Some mods I just used the internet and the search engine. For instance the police only folding stock, heat shield, forward picitiny rail stock and the tricked out safety ebay. The bayonet lug yes bayonet lug came from Canada a guy up there makes them an idea I had in my head yrs ago. Uses an ar15/m16 bayonet. Great solid item. I also like and recommend the safety. Works great! The mossberg people think they have an advantage tactically speaking because you can have your thumb on the safety and your finger in the trigger well at the same time. Oops somebody was thinking when they designed the new 870 safety It sticks out a bit further and is nicely rounded so it wouldn't get caught on anything. I'll tell you if you have any idea about using your 870 for home defense I highly recommend it. Once the fat of your index finger gets anywhere near the trigger the safety is knocked off instantly.
