Hello all, I am new to this forum & would like to ask for your help.
I purchased this 700 NIB in 2003 or 2004 which I love & have not
shot it in a couple years...kids, work, life's been busy. Anyway
I can not remember for the life in me if it's a PSS or P ?
It's chambered in .308 / 26in. barrel / Black w/green web
On my rifle's marking- Remington 700
My old mind doesn't remember things as well as it once did:(
If there's any additional info you need to help me, Please say so.

PS: I do realize it's more just a couple letters difference more
than anything. I think the throat was a tich longer before the
change from PSS to P. Any info additional you can add? Thank you very much
About a year prior to buying this one I bought a VSSF .223
I remember the VSSF clearly but my .308..I can not remember,
boy it's bad after you pass 50 everything goes down hill..lol
