hello, i am new to this forum. i recently purchased a remington model 10 shotgun. i took it apart and checked all the components and everything looks good. i took it out the other day and shot 15 rounds of 12 guage
2 3/4 size number 8 shot shells thru it and checked it every couple shots and it worked flawlessly..
My question is.. (i heard to not use steel shots in these older guns) but is it safe to fire a few magnum turkey loads thru it? they are 12 guage 2 3/4 1 5/8 oz. number 6 shot.. copper plated lead shot..
i wont be using this gun alot... just taking it out on an occassional hunt...
any feedback would be greatly appreciated tim
