Model 14 .25 Rem.
Hi all. I have a Model 14 in .25 Rem. I am trying to determine the year of manufacture. It has a "C" serial number 154XX. The rifle is in good shape, I would guess around 80% to 90%, has been hunted and well cared for. It has a "J. Stevens Arms" scope of maybe 2x or 3x mounted on dovetail mounts with a graceful spring tensioner on the front ring and external adjustments on the rear ring: really nice and really complements the rifle. The glass and reticle are clear and clean. The action is smooth as butter and I have not even done a thorough cleaning yet. Am going to try to find some amo for it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
