WTB NY 1871 / NYS .50-70 front band w/ swivel
Looking for a front barrel band for a New York State contract Remington Rolling Block three-band rifle, .50-70, 36" barrel.
Need:
Spring-retained (not a later #5 screw band)
Sling swivel on the band (NY puts the front swivel here)
“B” inspector mark a plus
Must fit the front seat of a standard NY military forend / .50-70 barrel
I already have the original middle and rear bands (both “B”) and a rod. Only the front is missing.
Will consider a close #1 military three-band spring front if it’s sized for .50-70 rather than .43 Egyptian.
