Rolling Block 16 gauge?

Rolling Block 16 gauge?
This gun was purchased at an auction and was called a 16 gauge rolling block. Any help in identifying what it really is would be appreciated! The barrel is round 30 1/2" I think it is a 22 stamped on top of barrel. The inlay is flush and I am guessing was custom, but do not know if it was factory or after purchase.

Both the wood and fancy inlays are done later, not factory work. Still a neat Remington Shotgun. They were able to fire brass shotshells, or paper shotshells, but not in the same cartridge. So depending on which you used it could be a 16ga. or a .20 ga. for these shotguns. Hopefully you have access to both and check to see which it is with modern ammo. Should be a 16 ga. with modern ammo, and I believe they use the 2 3/4" shells.
