Remmington Model 4 22 call rolling block Manufacture date help

I am a gunsmithing student and I am having a hard time identifying a Remmington model 4 22 call rolling block rifel that was left to me by my father. I have tried to identify it from the serial number look up but have been unable to do so. It is a solid frame non take down model. It is labeled 22 and has a short forearm and an octagon barrel. On the barrel it is labeled Remmington Arms on the top of the barrel and the serial number does not have a letter identify the year and month. The serial number is located in the bottom of the barrel and is 186276. Any help would be appreciated. N
