My first rifle was a Remington, 760 Gamemaster 30-06 from the 50s I think, got it in '84. After I got a BLR I let my son use the 760 I found some serious pitting on the receiver and so traded it. I did get a new 7600 270 a few years ago but for some reason I didn't hang onto it.
I'm a southpaw, and have a LH safety which I had installed on the 760. I kept it when I got rid of the gun and put it on the 7600, and now it adorns my latest acquisition, my first 870.
It's a .410 Express with what I think is Wingmaster wood, albeit finished like an express stock. Barrel code is KM and serial prefix is A, I believe this gun was manufactured in 1992, first year for .410 in a express?
I'm curious as to whether it might have come from the factory stocked this way?

Probably original, but I can't verify one way or another. The original box may have additional info. Many makes and models are ordered by wholesalers to be sold as 'Distributor Exclusives", this may or may not be in that category.
