n° 3 "sawhandle" Remington-Smoot with wood grips

I just got a n° 3 "sawhandle" Remington-Smoot equipped with walnut grips.

According to the book " A study Of Remington's Smoot Patent & Number Four Revolvers", of all the Smoot models, only the sawhandle variant had wood grips offered as an option. And also according to the sampling that the three authors realized, only 3.6 % of the arround 5,000 units produced have such grips.

So, I am really happy to have found this gun which is also in .38 CF caliber, less common than the RF version.
