Model 12C NRA Target

Post by marlinman93 »

Picked up one of these today at our local gun show in extremely good condition, (90%+) with the original sights, etc. When I got home I did some checkeing (as usual after the purchase!) and the Bluebook puts these at around $1,000 or so.
Do these little 12C NRA's really get those kind of prices?

Yes some do. One thing you have to watch is the rear sight. A lot of times they get changed. Its a very minor detail that most people would never notice. The adjustment on the rear Lyman sight should be approximatly .75 of an inch tall. The standard 12 Lyman sight will only have about a .25 inch tall adjustment ring. Did yours by chance come with the original sling?

Here's a few pictures of the 12C NRA. I added a military style sling to match pictures I found.
