Serial number Remington New Model 1858

New to the forum in hopes of getting an idea of when this revolver I purchased yesterday, Nov. 17th, was made. SN 92162. I live in Ventura, CA and seem to accumulate old firearms. Larry

Hi Larry,

Welcome to the forum. Your pistol was made in August, 1864.
