WTK: Is this a 141 carbine?

Trying to find info on this rifle, it looks like a 141 carbine. S/N 3610 and AE date code.

The 18.5 inch barrel has the bosses to support the mazine hanger but the front sight is not integral, it is a Marbles. Someone cut down the buttstock and added a recoil pad.

It looks to me that the barrel was cut and the gun has been refinished.
