stock scratches

i have an 870 and a sportsman 58 have some brush scratches on the stocks does any one no how to touch them up with out alot of work

Does it have a clear coat on it or are they oiled. If they are oiled just rub them with gunstock oil from someone like birchwood casey and then apply stock wax. If it has clear coat you may be able to use some heated stock wax to fill in the scratches in the clear coat to semi cover it and protect the wood. As far as I know there is now good way to fix polyurathane scratches if they are deep other than refinishing. If they are shallow and do not go through the finish you can use stock rubbing compound (Galazan has it) to buff out the scratches.
