Hello experts!
The rabbit hole is deep on rolling blocks, and I just found one in my price range. It's a Remington manufacture cut down with a 22" barrel (bore not centered well). Do the little crowns on the bands mean it's Spanish? My chamber cast appears to be for tapered reformado?? (base is .530 and top of neck is .495) Two bore sluggings are coming out at .436 on the lands. Does that mean the bore was not upgraded? 43 spanish brass fits, but I don't have a reformado brass yet. There is a serial # on the side of the tang and a couple inspection stamps, but otherwise no identifiers. No 'R' stamped on receiver. I would like to reload for this but uncertain as to what size bullet. Can I neck size the reformado down to hold the Lyman 439 bullet? Any info at all would be appreciated.
Thanks,
dan in mpls.

Re: So I have this roller...
That casting looks the same as the two I did on mine. Mine wound up being reformado I have a mold for mine since I have both a 43 spanish and a couple reformados. Same barrel so same bullet. I have them at my shop and check tomorrow to be sure. I really can't remember the size but again have it at my shop. Other than the cut down part it looks just like mine. I'll check out what I have and let you know anything I forgot or didn't have here. Bill
