Remington 1894 10 gage
To my serial numbers that line up with the 1894 Remington double shotguns by Charles G semer I have a 1908 double barrel 10 gauge it was my great great great grandfathers gun with 30 inch Damascus barrels with the numbers aL W2 on the barrels from my understanding those are the second-best damasics barrels for the model 1894 double barrel 10 12 or 16 gauge in the Damascus Barrel however that is not the important part from the Charles G semer book on page 256 + 257 page the O C doubles I am almost confident that I have the number 10 gun that you have not recorded if this is true this gun will have to be in this book but it is also 1908 the year production that would be the first ever recorded 1908 double barrel oc gun ever recorded in the book Remington double shotguns by Charles G siemer it says study o the right side looking down from the butt end of the gun the o will look like a backwards C and will not say Remington Arms CO as clearly as the left side of gun says Remington arms co perfectly and in the Remington my n is gaped along with the g and t and if I'm reading this correctly it is saying that this happened to all model 1894 OC guns that included the a grade b grade F grade The k grade and the KE grade here are some pics according 2 my gun picture it looks like it could have been the next gun after the model a. In your book look at the line going through backwards c the Charles g summer book witch should be a o caused by a defect in the stamp it says that he has only recorded nine of these guns in this book my gun might be the next gun stamped after that one in your catalog if this is true witch I am All most sure but can't say untill its verified I have studied this o for hours and I have read pages 256 and 257 10 times this gun is number 10 the first ever recorded 1908 double barrel 10 gage in the Charles G semmer book that is ever been recorded of the O C double barrel shotgun and it's in a 10 gauge 1908 serial number match has never been recorded only 1898 1907 and 1910 serial number136335 with pistol grips English Walnut

Re: Remington 1894 10 gage
I could never understand why Charles wasted a couple pages of his book on guns marked with a roll-stamp that had exceeded its useful life. Pretty much ho hum and so what!
