Ejector piece on Remington o3a3

In working on my o3a3 pulled the pin that holds the ejector and the ejector fell out . Now I'm not sure which way it goes back in. Can some do a drawing with an arrow as to which way it goes back in. It is a triangular piece with a hole at the bottom. Does it angle back or forward.
