Hi to all ,i am from downunder in NZ , have a collection of various remington 22s mainly nylons , recently got a mod 16 auto which has been rebarreled in 22 ,according to my remington bible (gyde /marcot)the rem. factory states these rifles will not function.Anyway this one cycled and fired ok,my question is has anyone else had experience with making one work .? Also seeking a complete forewood for this gun,anyone got an overflowing partsbin ? Thanks .

I tried 22 long rifles in the one I had and it worked alright except it shot out a lot of fire around the breach on recoil. I would try SERVICE/PARTS right side home page this site for a forearm. Jay Huber RSA
