Remington Model 700 Tactical

I recently purchased a older Remington Model 700 Tactical in .223 with a black synthetic stock and a 20 inch bbl.(serial # G6735225). Can anyone tell me the bbl twist and when it was made. All the new ones have a 1-9 inch twist. Thanks.

All the early 223s that I know have a 1-12 twist. There is a manufacture dating section on the homepage of this wonderful site that shows you how to date by barrel code.
