I have 2 model 11's I would like info on:
1. 12 ga serial no.89896
2. 20 ga serial no.1054997
Both are currently in active service. Thanks in advance.

1. A 12-gauge with the serial number 89896 is probably a Remington Autoloading Shotgun made by Remington Arms Co. 1905 to 1910. During 1911, Marcellus Hartley Dodge combined his arms and ammunition companies as Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co. In the 1911-12 Rem - UMC Catalog they began calling the gun the Model No. 11. We need to know the company name on the barrel.
2. The receiver with the serial number 1054997 was put in work during July 1939.
