I just bought an SP-10 shotgun off of gunbroker.com which has the serial number:
LE89-4474
The people of Remington could find no record of this serial number in their database and claim that there was never a "law enforcement" version of this shotgun. Does anybody have any ideas as to what I must do to determine when, how it was configured as delivered, and for what purpose that this gun was manufactured? Thank you.
p.s. The gun has a 22", smooth bore, rifle sited barrel with choke in matte finish.
