my remington double i want more and more info. I have been over the place today. internet on the phone with remington. my gun as previously forumed about has the lever that pushes to the right to open the breech. on the stock you can still see the checkering yet the for end grip has no texture left to them. the rear cherking has definately seen a lot of time since they were sharp. i have a small crack in the wood on the left side just behind the hammer just behind the side bracket that attache sto the wood. what are some average prices for these guns? High and low? with out the damascus, as mine does not have it. does any one know of a place in indiana where i acn have it checked out by a reputable person? i want no hacks/nuts even handeling it. i am not sure if i will keep it or sell it. i believe i could make some money as i only paid $75.00 but one more thing i am curious about is what size of shells do if i decide to shoot out of it? I know its a 12 gauge. is it ok t shoot modern ammo in this old of a gun? Thanks to one and all. Be safe Shoot alot
