I called Remington and was told by serial # it was made in 1966.. and she obviously was having trouble finding it.. which makes it very unique since they stopped mfg in 1963!
By the barrel letters, it seems to have been made in 1961.. the 2 3/4" shell barrel seems to have the same letters, though not stamped clearly.
Both barrels are plain..
I'd like to find out what grade it is and am having no luck. Also, I was told they did not come with 2 barrels, so were there many who purchased 2 at time of sale?
I'd like to find out the grade and if there were many magnums made as I saw one seller claiming it was rare and his gun had a $475 price on it. I thought that to be rather high.
