ADL Butteplate

Seems the early ADL's had a metal butteplate, then plastic. What year did Remington start using plastic butte plates?

Remington switched to plastic butt plates from aluminum on all 700s in 1969.

Thanks for the reply, my .222 Rem ADL was made in 1977 and my 6mm ADL was made in 1970, both have the plastic butte plates.
