Reington Beals 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Model Pocket Revolvers

Post by 27Northtexan19 »

Each of the Remington Beals Pocket Revolver models (1857 on) has a number of issues or versions. I am having difficulty finding any descriptive references to the difference in model number versions, e.g.; 1st Model, 1st Issue, 2nd Issue, etc. I can find Model differences but not model Version differences.
Can anyone direct me to literature that will help me?

Hi,
Have you tried Remington's First Revolvers The Remington Beals .31 Caliber Revolvers by Charles Schif?

No I have not, but when I checked it out a few minutes ago I found the price to be in the neighborhood of $50/copy. A bit steep for a little bit of information.
Thanks for your reply.
