I have just acquired a Remington New Model Army, serial number 93841. Having read previous posts I checked under the grip and the numbers match. It is very ornate; plated and engraved with 'mother of pearl' grips. The right hand grip has an eagle with outstretched wings. On the left hand side of the breech is a cartouche with ' La Casa De Don Jorge' and on the back strap is engraved, 'Don Jorge A CARRICO'. It is in near mint condition. Is it possible to research this further through the Society and can it be dated through the number. Thank you. John
Ya know.... you can't just post something like that without pictures
